Casita Roof and Gutter Project: Replaces the deteriorated roof and installs an integrated gutter and rainwater-harvesting system for the community garden’s culturally significant Casita, preserving its storage function. Upgrades use durable, weather-resistant materials and proper flashing to ensure watertight integrity, reduce stormwater runoff, and provide captured water for irrigation—enhancing site resilience, lowering maintenance costs, and supporting garden productivity and community programming.
